Greetings! This is the perfect breakfast roll for these perfectly wonderful spring mornings! These do take a bit of time so if you want them for breakfast I would suggest that you either get up really, really early or you make them a day in advance to enjoy them on a lazy Sunday morning or take to church or other function to share.
I would classify this as an intermediate yeast dough recipe that is easy but will take a bit of time. This is not a recipe you want to try if you don’t have any experience making yeast dough. If you have never made a yeast dough then you should start with a basic bread recipe first and work your way up to these.
That being said, these rolls go together fairly easily. They are delicious and fresh with the taste of fresh orange rind and juice spiked throughout the recipe.
A soft, sweet brioche dough is the beginning with a sweet orange spiked center and an orange sugar glaze to top the whole thing off.
These are simply amazing and well worth the extra effort.
I hope you give these a try and I hope you love them!
